1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the service.
2. Booking and Payments
Booking Process: To book a journey with TerraVista, you must complete a booking request. A booking is confirmed only after we have received the required deposit and you have received a confirmation email from us.
Deposits and Final Payments: A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The final balance is due 90 days prior to the departure date. Failure to pay the final balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.
Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit card and bank transfer. All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation by You: All cancellation requests must be made in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:
- More than 90 days before departure: Forfeiture of deposit.
- 61-90 days before departure: 50% of the total booking cost.
- 60 days or less before departure: 100% of the total booking cost.
We strongly recommend you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to cover cancellation charges.
Cancellation by Us: TerraVista reserves the right to cancel any trip for any reason, such as force majeure or failure to meet the minimum number of participants. In such cases, we will offer you the choice of a full refund of all monies paid or an alternative trip of comparable standard.
4. Traveler Responsibilities
Travel Documents: You are responsible for ensuring that you have a valid passport, any necessary visas, and required vaccinations for the countries you are visiting. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the duration of the trip.
Health and Fitness: You must be in good physical and mental health. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be declared at the time of booking. Some journeys may not be suitable for travelers with certain health conditions.
Compliance: You agree to accept the authority and decisions of our employees, tour leaders, and agents while on your journey with us.
5. Limitation of Liability
TerraVista acts as an agent for third-party suppliers, such as airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers. We are not liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of any act or omission of any third party. We are not responsible for any force majeure events such as wars, acts of terrorism, acts of God, or other circumstances beyond our control.
6. Use of the Website
The content and information on this website are for your general information and use only. They are subject to change without notice. Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense. Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use is subject to the laws of our operating jurisdiction.
7. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
